VISITING PASTORS


Pastor Mary with Rev. Kenneth Carlson, who was Emmaus' Senior Pastor from 1972 to 1982. He returned to preach on January 23-24, 2001. He was been pastor at Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church of Milwaukee from 1982 until his retirement in May, 2005.


Rev. Jeff Wild and wife Nancy, visited in March, 2001. Pastor Jeff was Associate Pastor at Emmaus 1980-1983. He is now pastor of Advent Lutheran Church in Madison.


Rev. Lyle Rossing and wife Betty, returned from Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Hibbing, Minnesota, May 5 and 6, 2001. Rev. Rossing was Senior Pastor at Emmaus from 1983 to 1994. Pastor Rossing retired from the ministry in 2003.


Rev. Alan Goertemiller and his wife, Pat, were here August 4-5, 2001 for our "Mass on the Grass" and neighborhood carnival. Emmaus was Pastor Al's first ordained call, 1974-78. He is now Pastor of Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Indianapolis.

There were pony rides, games, picnic fare, and lots of other fun to be had at the neighborhood carnival.
